The Black Men's Research Institute (BMRI) Annual Symposium is to engage the Atlanta University Center community, as well as interested organizations and institutions within the city and the broader community, to begin to think more deeply about Black men's lives.

This year's event focuses on Black fathers, fatherhood, and fathering, which provides a critical platform to interrogate and expand the resources, opportunities, policies, and practices that support Black men in their fathering. Critical to this work is acknowledging and appreciating the multifaceted ways Black men show up and engage in fathering. The ultimate goal is to provide opportunities to re-author narratives about Black fathers, fatherhood, and fathering.

Day 1 of the Symposium will take place at African American Hall of Fame and Day 2 will take place at Bank of America Auditorium.
